Currently we are looking for prospective candidates for our potential projects in Poland and abroad to join our future construction management teams executing the work for our Clients.
The Commissioning/ Turnover Manager provides leadership and is primarily engaged in management activities that establish the allocation and utilization of assigned projects resources and personnel. This role uses years of supervisory and managerial insights and experiences to plans and executes planned, documented, and managed commissioning/ turnover strategies to achieve contractual compliance.
Areas of responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Participates in providing a planned, documented, and managed engineering and construction approach to the turnover for pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, operations and testing and final hand-over of facilities, systems, and equipment to the client. The Commissioning Manager will participate in the development of the Site Quality Manual (SQM) determining the appropriate requirements for the equipment and project location.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining the system centric integrated Turnover/ Commissioning schedule, controlling all costs associated, developing a Turnover/ Commissioning plan, managing commissioning engineers, and integrating activities with Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, and Turnover/ Commissioning activities and deliverables.
• Establishes system boundaries, scopes of work, and Turnover / Commissioning execution plans.
• Establishes project specific written commissioning procedures for Final Phase Execution.
• Understands the commissioning test plans/protocols, and coordinates and/or attends design, construction and operability reviews.
• Fulfills contract by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the Fluor team.
• Prepares Turnover/ Commissioning progress reports for management, clients, Senior Director of Turnover/ Commissioning or others and develop written test procedures as well as coordinate, witness, and document startup and functional tests.
• Typically manages a staff and provides an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members.
• Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.
• Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines.
• Understanding the current capabilities of automation tools and ensuring that they are being utilized to the full benefit of the department and project.
• Typically degreed (Engineering/Technical) with seven (7) to twelve (12) years Turnover/ Commissioning Home office and Site experience or ten (10) years of operations, maintenance, Turnover/ Commissioning, and/or applied home office experience with at least three (3) years minimum experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Functional knowledge of all areas of plant/facility pre-commissioning, turnover, commissioning, operations and/or maintenance technology.
• Demonstrated leadership skills necessary to achieve business and project results.
• Experienced in LSTK, PMC, EP, EPC, EPCm, EPCC, CM, FEL, FEED, Turnover, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Training, etc., type project for strategic planning, implementation and execution.
• Demonstrates willingness and ability to travel on a short notice both internationally and domestically for short and long term assignments.
• Proficient in MS Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, and Primavera scheduling software.
• Professional Registration preferred
• Working experience in heavy industry (on Petrochemical Projects) will be preferable
• Good English skills is a must
